As soon as the '300' movie came out, the '300' workout came out. Men and women everywhere, from all walks of life, were eager to learn how King Leonidas and his Spartan warriors got their abs of steel, boulder shoulders, barn door backs, etc. The truth is, the training regimen was the brainchild of the mens', Mark Twight. Because of his workout training plans, many of the men went from being around 40 pounds overweight to being lean, mean, fighting machines in a matter of months.
Others just improved their level of fitness and conditioning exponentially. The workout is done in a giant-set fashion. That is to say, you go from one exercise, to the next, to the next, with little to no rest in between.
However, if you cannot complete the desired number of reps for each exercise, you are permitted to, until you complete all reps before moving on to the next station. It should be noted that this routine was not used everyday by the men in the film, and should not be used everyday by recreational exercisers. Remember, this workout isn't for beginners. The demands on the muscles are high, and you risk. So make sure you know what you're doing before you attempt to become a Spartan. The 300 Workout.
I took the chance and bought the Body Spartan Genesis program as I began to feel I was just aimlessly wandered through my workout and nutrition regimens. I am just a normal guy trying to be more fit. I started out around 210 pounds and 23-24% body fat, and am currently at 186 and 16-16.5% body fat. I went through the Genesis program once, and cheated quite a bit on weekends, and really didn't do all of the cardio I was supposed to. It is weird how motivated you can be during the week, but let it go on the weekends. I still made most of that progress with the extra cheat days. I went about halfway through it again to get to my current point.
I have since changed up some of the workouts, but am back to hitting the diet, and am focusing more on the cardio. I have little doubt I will reach my goal of 14 percent body fat this time around. Thanks guys, for such a great program! I was skeptical when I first started but I let my fears and doubt go! This company has so much more to offer than a weight loss program or a bulking program. These guys are life coaches! The extra material that they offer is so much more valuable than what you actually pay for.
I started a weight loss journey that involves documenting my progress while using all these “loss weight quick” programs that “guarantee” results. This was the first program in my journey and I absolutely love it! My Genesis program ends next week but plan to stay on with Spartan Army and I’ll definitely be back around for Genesis 2.0 and Unleashed! Love you guys! Honestly, I can’t give the Genesis program any less than five stars. I hit the finish line last week and I’m down 30lbs from 225 down to 195.
If you’re like me and you lack discipline in the weight room without a structured lifting regimen, then this program is great for you. Every phase is planned out day by day with a workout check list on the site. You finish the workout for that day, you hit the check mark and the next day’s workout becomes available.
There’s videos explaining the proper form for all the workouts as well so if you’re a beginner you can still get the results. I did have a little trouble with the diet but that’s my own struggle to put down the tortillas, what can I say, I’m Hispanic and they’re ingrained into my DNA lol. Even so the workouts are pretty intense and I still lost the weight. I’ll be hitting it again for another cycle and more results in a couple weeks but until then I’ll be trying out all the badass workouts these guys put out on FB because they are all pretty effing awesome and extremely intense. Thanks Body Spartan and keep those workouts coming!
I've been doing Body Spartan workouts for the past year now and I absolutely love them. I recently purchased the Genesis program and I believe this is an amazing program for those looking to challenge themselves. I'm 20 years old and 183 pounds and I am 4 weeks into the the 12 week program. My max on bench went up 35 pounds (330lb) in the 4 weeks. My deadlift went up 30 pounds (475lb). My squat went up 40 lbs (415lb).
Let me remind you I am 4 WEEKS into the program. Stay motivated with Body Spartan. Before and after pictures to come after completion of the program. It took me awhile to actually say OK I need help in the gym, I need a better agenda for my daily routine to hit my target areas. I got the genisis program and it really changed my gym habbit. I don't go to the gym lost I go with a plan and bang out every exercise listed for that day. I love the program, the instructional video is great for all the tips so I don't have to Google proper form on everything.
The Spartan Workouts Pdf
I haven't cut the weigh that I wanted yet (my fault not the program) but I do every work out to the fullest and pump as hard as I can while at the gym. My strength has majorly increased.
Just wanted to say thank you to the body spartan team! And I can wait to finish this program and try out another one. Day 83 of my first Body Spartan Genesis round.
This has been a grueling journey but the results speak for themselves. The four days before I started this journey I consistently weighed 213lbs. My goal weight for Genesis 185lbs. A lofty goal, but I knew I could hit if I focused.
Unfortunately, I was so disgusted in myself I neglected to take before pics; therefore, I will likely keep the after pics out as well. On day 83 and the four days before hitting day 83 I consistently weighed 181-183lbs. Given the circumstances of the last few days I would am going to be conservative and call it 183lbs. That is a loss of 30 lbs while completing the Genesis program!!Could I have done better??? The answer is probably yes. The shortfalls were my own, and had nothing to do with the program. I fell off the nutrition a few times over the course of the program and used a few carb days for beer.

Ummm No that was not good, but followed the advice on the INVALUABLE podcasts and did not dwell and beat myself up over. Just pushed forward and made progress. Other areas I did not do so well was the order of workouts. I would get up in the morning have two cups of coffee and drive to the gym. Get the lifting done followed up by some cardio. I did cardio EVERY day, but would use the weekends to go mountain biking and other cardio to really enjoy the outdoors.
I also failed on number of meals per day. I found myself going back to the 3 meals a day routing I have always had. I also feel like I made the mind muscle connection a little late in the game. Came in during the endurance stage as the weight was lower and I would focus on slowing the reps up and performing as best as I possibly could.Another area where I could not follow the program was the supplement recommendations. I started with the supplements, but honestly had to cut them because of how they made me feel.Regardless, of the aforementioned failures I feel like the number speak volumes.
Thirty pounds in eighty-three days is a major accomplishment in my books. The program was worth the money spent and the supplemental material such as the podcasts were key to success. While I was not always interested in the topics, or even agree one hundred percent with the content I would always find and least one nugget of information that would boost my workouts or impact me on a more personal level such as boosting my confidence.
I am starting to miss my second favorite ginger (my son is a ginger as well, sorry Captain)!! Favorite workout This is a difficult one to choose. I always enjoy anything to do with traps and shoulders. These are split in the Genesis program, but they are my favorite groups to workout. The workouts really made my shoulders pop during the workout.Least favorite pretty much any of the power lifting workouts. Now it is time to re-evaluate my goals and see where I go from here.
Thanks #BodySpartan!!! I have followed Body Spartan for 3 years now. I have purchased apparel with great service but most importantly, over the course of 3 years I have seen their routines change consistently. Always coming up with fresh routines, combining workouts, creating super sets, etc. I have seen an amazing transformation in myself and when I feel sluggish I pull up their latest video for new content and kill it at the gym. I know these guys aren't for everyone but for a tattooed, Harley owning, gym lover like myself they are just what I need. I recommend trying anything they throw at you and it WILL work with consistency and dedication.
Devpartner studio 9.0 crack. More importantly, I want to say THANK YOU to the Body Spartan team. I know this is your business but you also share so much free content that you don't have to. Keep on keeping on from SLC!Love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life! I started using body spartan in the beginning of 2016. I was so toned and I made so much progress I'm still featured on their website! Now looking at my profile, I just had a daughter in April of 2017 and I gained quite abit of weight during the pregnancy.
Almost 50lbs actually. Being 3 months post-partum I started the Genesis Program again!
I had to re-purchase because they re-did so much stuff from the last time I used it. I forgot how amazing it feels to be back in the gym.
I'm starting Day 22 and I'm down 5% body fat. Granted I don't eat like I'm supposed to but that's my own fault and I will start the keto diet to receive more results. This program is no joke and these guys are in the game. This is simply amazing and I'm so motivated. I'm truly loving the unleashed program the versatility with the workouts the way they're set is optimal for me everyone is different but I believe these programs are triggered for everyone mostly motivation the inspirational videos are just that inspirational not to bring the cliche in but it's helped me in all facets of life from my training to being a husband and father it helps your time manegement for everything Gabe and the rest of the team hit the nail on the head and hopefully I can strive for the next goal of actually being apart of the Body Spartan team. I'm midway through the final workout of the Unleashed program and the nostalgia is already starting.
This program has been one of the most challenging and rewarding undertakings I've ever embarked on. I'm bigger, leaner, stronger and at 38 have more muscular endurance than I've ever had by a long shot. Most importantly, this program forced me to reach back and really see what I'm made of and its taught me a lot about myself.
I can't wait to start this program again in the near future. Thank you Gabe, and all at Body Spartan. You've changed my life for the better. SEE THE ACTUAL RESULTS BELOW!. SEE WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING! I spent 15 years in the army and had structure to my physical training. About 2 years ago I parted ways with the army and started contracting.
After a year in Kuwait with no structure I weighed in at a whopping 227lbs. At 5’6″ that made me a very round little marshmallow. I wish I could remember how I stumbled across Body Spartan (YouTube I think) but I was hooked!!
I saw Gabe and Priscilla doing his daily posts while he was doing the genesis program and I was hooked. I started January 1, 2017 and at that time I was 227 lbs and who knows what percent body fat. After 6 months of dedication to the system on June 19, 2017 I am down 55lbs to 172 and feel fantastic. Thank you Gabe, Priscilla, and Howie for the daily inspiration. Without you guys I would probably be on my way to a heart attack!!
-Ben Meives Colorado Springs/Kuwait I completely lost my gut doing the Genesis program and packed on lean muscle. I can definitely tell how much strength I have. I am no longer the short guy with the belly in the gym. I have more confidence walking into the gym and feel great. I’m starting the Unleashed program now and can not wait to see the results.
Thank you for taking the time to produce such an amazing program and the nutrition plan has been amazing and simple to follow.
Mistake #1: Doing Isolated Exercises Doing isolated exercises like bicep curls and tricep kick-backs will NOT get you any significant results. These one-muscle-at-a-time moves simply don't stimulate enough muscle fibers to build lean muscle or expend enough energy to maximize your calorie burn. If you want to build lean muscle while burning fat so you can get serious definition, you need to perform exercises that stimulate as many muscles and expend as much energy as possible at the same time.
Using these types of exercises (which I'll reveal on the next page) will dramatically accelerate your results. Mistake #2: Working Out With Machines Fancy machines may make the gym look high-end, but truthfully, about the only thing they're good for is for sitting down while you tie your shoes or catch your breath! The problem is this: Machines alter the way your body naturally moves and restrict your range of motion. This severely limits your ability to fully activate all of your muscles fibers - that means less fat burning and less muscle definition. Worse yet, machines can cause excessive strain on your joints, leading to nagging injuries down the road. If you want fast results, it's critical that you incorporate exercises that allow your body to move naturally with full range of motion so you can skyrocket your metabolism and tone your entire physique. In minute, I'll explain the 6 primary movements that are the foundation of these full-body exercises.and I'll also fill you in on the best types of weights to use for your workouts.
Mistake #3: Doing Long Bouts of Cardio Look, you need to do cardio if you want to lose weight and burn fat.BUT there's a right way and a wrong way to do your cardio workouts. If you've been pounding the pavement or the treadmill with nothing to show for it (except sore joints and a pair of stinky worn out sneakers), you already know it takes a lot of effort to get minimal results. In this article, I'm going to reveal the most effective way to pump up your cardio routine that will get you insane results in half the time of your regular cardio workout - without causing unnecessary stress on your joints. Seriously, don't skip this article because once you learn this simple trick, you'll kick yourself for not doing it all along.
Mistake #4: Doing Crunches & Sit-Ups To Get 6-Pack Abs If you want washboard abs, doing traditional ab exercises like crunches and sit-ups WILL NOT get you a six pack. In fact, doing any exercises that target your abs won't get you a six pack either! These so-called 'ab' exercises are a complete waste of time. They don't make your abs get any more defined and they definitely don't burn any fat. The key to getting sculpted abs is to burn off that stubborn layer of belly fat that's hiding them! In the next few minutes, I'll show you how to burn away the 'ab flab' while stimulating all 6 of your abdominal muscles at the same time so you can finally carve out your six pack abs. Mistake #5: Repeating The Same Workouts Over & Over Repeating the same workouts over and over is a surefire way to STOP getting results.
We're creatures of habit and we tend to stick to things we're familiar with and good. But when it comes to your workouts, if you want to keep making progress and keep seeing changes in your body, you've got to start switching things up. You see, your body has an amazingly ability to adapt quickly and when it does, that's when you hit the dreaded plateau and you stop making progress. On the next page, I'm going to tell you exactly how often you need to change up your workout routine so you can keep your body guessing to accelerate the results process. Mistake #6: Doing Loooong Workouts Longer workouts do NOT equal better or faster results.
If you've been slaving away at the gym and your body isn't visibly changing, you can't do more of the same thing and expect a different result. When it comes to getting lean and fit, your body responds to quality over quantity. I'm going to tell you the #1 way to super-charge your workouts - this simple, yet overlooked method is the single fastest way to getting lean and ripped while cutting your workout time almost in half. Day two challenges your anaerobic system. In the first four weeks, you will perform Hurricane training, which is derived from the. It will improve your ability to sprint and execute short bursts of strength and power, and will even enhance your aerobic system.
Day three is a trail running day, so you can train in the same environment as a race. This will improve your long-duration endurance and prepare you for the ever-changing terrain. It also calls for intermittent bodyweight exercises to simulate random obstacles scattered throughout the course. Day four builds muscular endurance via density training.
